According to reports published by the Associated Press, US President Joe Biden is sticking to the August 31 deadline for completing the US-led evacuation of Americans and Afghan allies from Afghanistan. Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid also said that the US must complete its evacuation from Afghanistan by August 31 in a press conference. Biden made the decision after consultation with his national security team.
