Hamirpur (HP) : While claiming that the BJP was a party of masses and it would continue to work for their welfare and well being, former Chief Minister and senior BJP leader, PK Dhumal said that the party was all set to help the government in achieving its target of mass vaccination of all eligible persons in the state by November 30th.
He told UNI today that party workers across the state were busy helping the people to get them vaccinated for the second dose so that the threat of the COVID-19 was minimized.
Dhumal, however, appealed to the people to observe the COVID-19 guidelines in totality for safeguarding themselves and their families as the virus still existed in the state.
The BJP leader claimed that Himachal Pradesh was one of the few states in India where Corona had been brought under control and all services were functioning normally. He said that schools for the students of first to seventh classes would be opened in two phases on November 10th and 15th respectively.
Dhumal who returned from Shimla after taking part in the national executive meeting of the party through virtual medium said that parents should take care of their children while sending them to schools and provide them with face masks to keep them safe from the virus.
He said that the party was strong enough to face the challenge posed by the Congress party and would form its government once again after 2022 Vidhan Sabha elections.
Dhumal said that the BJP state executive meeting would be held before 22nd November to be followed by district and mandal executive meetings to give a fillip to the activities of the organization in wake of the next Vidhan Sabha elections.
The BJP will also conduct training camps at district and manual level to tell the party how to remain alert for the next elections in their respective areas, he said.
He said that the party would strengthen its booths and also keep a proper track with the grass root workers that were the main backbone of the organization in the country in general and Himachal Pradesh in particular.
