Hamirpur : There seems to be no end to the COVID in the district of Hamirpur and as many as 49 new cases were detected on Monday.
Hamirpur CMO Dr RK Agnihotri said 19 women and 11 children are among those who found tested positive in the past 24 hours.
Meanwhile, the district authorities have warned the people not to take things lightly and adopt the COVID guidelines fully. The authorities have said that those found violating the guidelines would be booked under the law of land.
Meanwhile, all schools in the district for the students of 9th to 12th classes were opened today. In the first go, students of the tenth and twelfth classes attended the schools after proper scanning by the school’s authorities.
No prayers were held and each child was made to sit on a single bench. They ate their lunch at their own table without sharing it with their friends.
An official spokesman claimed that the attendance in the schools was encouraging and no child was found with any symptom of the disease.
