The Institute of Technology (IIT), Delhi has developed a rapid antigen Covid-19 test kit for a price of ₹50. The kit gives results within five minutes. It was approved by the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) and launched by Union Minister of State for Education Sanjay Dhotre on Friday. The technology behind the test has been patented by IIT Delhi.
