Jerusalem : Israel’s rhythmic gymnast Daria Atamanov won the all-around gold medal at the 2022 European Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships in Tel Aviv on Saturday.
At her first European Championships, 16-year-old Atamanov finished with the winning 136.900 points at the Expo center.
Bulgaria’s Boryana Kaleyn took the silver medal with 135.500 points, after having also finished runner-up at the previous 2021 European Championships in Varna. Her compatriot Stiliana Nikolova finished third with 131.650 points.
The four apparatus final competitions, to which eight gymnasts have qualified for each event, will be held on Sunday, the closing day of the championships.
On the same day, the two apparatus finals of the group competition will also take place.
