Patna : Reiterating his commitment for maintaining law and order, peace and harmony, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Friday said that law and order was at the top of his government’s agenda and no slackness towards it would be tolerated at any cost.
While reviewing the law and order situation and execution of total prohibition in the state during a high level meeting, Kumar said here that his government has established rule of law in the state and maintaining law and order was on the top most priority.
Appreciating the sincerity of police and administration for controlling communal incidents in the state Nitish Kumar asked them to maintain their sincerity towards it in future .
He also directed not to ignore the initiative for controlling crime and asked them to accelerate the investigation into crime for speedy booking the culprits.
The Chief Minister asked the police administration to intensify night patrolling and remain cautious during the patrolling.
The Senior Police officers should monitor the patrolling. the Chief Minister asked the senior police officers to ensure the landlines at police Stations should remain functional round the clock .
Reviewing the police people ratio, the chief minister instructed to work on increasing the ratio to 150 police personal on one lack of population.
Highlighting the importance of skill while handling any issue Kumar insisted to accord special focus on training of police forces.
