Aurangabad : The Marathwada region of Maharashtra recorded 141 new COVID-19 cases and six deaths in the past 24 hours, health authorities informed on Monday.
The district headquarters report stated that of eight districts in the region, Beed district was the worst-affected with 67 cases and 3 deaths, followed by Aurangabad with 21 cases and 2 deaths, Parbhani with 3 cases and single death, Osmanabad 30 cases , Latur registered 12 cases, Nanded had 6 cases and Jalna registered 2 cases.
Meanwhile, Hingoli did not report any new COVID case.
During the past 24 hours, 4,507 fresh cases of COVID-19 were recorded across the state, taking the total number of infections to 64,86,174.
The state also registered 67 more deaths, taking the death toll to 1,37,774.
