Raipur : Lambasting the Centre over the National Monetisation Pipeline, Congress General Secretary and Rajasthan In-charge Ajay Maken on Friday alleged that the Narendra Modi dispensation is selling – at a “mega discount” – assets worth crores created through public toil over a period spanning seven decades.
“We desire to awaken the populace. The Modi government has given birth to twins – namely demonetisation and monetisation. Their motive is identical! You have watched yesteryear films ‘Seeta aur Geeta’ and ‘Ram aur Shyam’. Mr Modi has produced and directed ‘Monetisation aur Demonetisation’. Monopoly is being created in the telecom, aviation sectors, etc,” the visiting politician said while addressing a press conference in the Chhattisgarh capital.
