West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has filed an election petition against opposition leader Suvendu Adhikari at the Calcutta High Court. The matter is listed for hearing before a single bench via video conference on Friday. After the Election Commission had declared Adhikari as the winner in Nandigram, the CM had said she would approach the Court over tampering of EVM machines and refusal of demands for recounting by the concerned EC official.
