Aurangabad : Marathwada region of Maharashtra reported 38 new COVID cases and 3 deaths during the past 24 hours.
Details from all the district headquarters collected by UNI showed that out of the eight districts of the region Aurangabad reported highest 14 new cases and single death, followed by Beed with 9 cases.
Jalna and Latur district recorded one death each. Hingoli district recorded no fresh case of the virus in the past 24 hours.
Meanwhile, during the past 24 hours, 8,92 fresh cases of COVID-19 were recorded across the state, taking the total number of infections to 66,17,654.
The state also registered 16 more deaths, taking the death toll to 1,40,388.
Meanwhile,1,063 patients recovered in the state, pushing the total number of recoveries to 64,59,108. The recovery rate currently stands at 97.60 per cent while the fatality rate is 2.12 per cent.
