Hyderabad : Heavy rain is likely to occur in Telangana’s isolated places on July 17, Meteorological Centre here said on Saturday.
The Met said rain will hit Komaram Bheem Asifabad, Mancherial, Karimnagar, Peddapalli, Jayashankar Bhupalpally, Mulugu, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Mahabubabad, Warangal (Rural), Warangal (Urban), Janagaon.
In a bulletin, it said that the same situation is likely prevail in Adilabad, Komaram Bheem Asifabad, Mancherial, Nirmal,Nizamabad,Jagityal,Rajanna Sirsilla, Karimnagar, Peddapalli,Jayashankar Bhupalpally, Mulugu, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Sangareddy, Medak and Kamareddy districts on July 18.
Light to moderate rain or thundershowers will likely to occur at some places in the state in next five days.
Southwest Monsoon has been weak over Telangana during the last 24 hours.
Meanwhile, in a special bulletin, Met said that the low pressure area over coastal Odisha and the neighbourhood now is over the Northwest Bay of Bengal off north Odisha-West Bengal coasts. The associated cyclonic circulation extends upto 7.6 km above mean sea level.
