Farrukhabad/Amroha : Speaking about the recovery of undeclared wealth from the properties of Itar trader Piyush Jain in Kanpur and Kannauj, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that the money hidden in the walls will now be used for the development of the state.
After launching projects worth Rs 200 crores, Yogi, while addressing Bharatiya Janat Party’s Jan Vishwas Yatra at Christian Inter College, said that besides crime and anarchy, there was rampant corruption during the previous government. Today criminals are behind the bars and women and girls are safe, he said.
He said that in Kanpur and Kannauj the vault overflowed with money earned through corruption and the same is coming out of the walls for the last four days. “Now it’s clear why ‘Babau’ (Samajwadi Party president Akhilesh Yadav) was opposing demonetisation. Now this money will be used in the development of the state.”
The CM said that in the ‘double engine’ government’, people are getting double ration. When good governments will come, they will bring good schemes and when bad governments come then the money will go to the houses of the leaders of SP, BSP and Congress, he charged.
He alleged that the Congress encouraged terrorists and now that the party is out of power it is opposing everything, which is in the interest of the public, has become their habit.
Promising to give a gift to Anganwadi workers in the new year, Yogi said that a big event will be organised in Lucknow where an announcement to hike their honorarium will be made.
In Amroha, Yogi launched projects worth Rs 43.18 crores. Addressing BJP’s Jan Vishwas Yatra at Hasanpur, Yogi announced that eight sugar mills in the state will be restarted, including the one in Amroha.
