Bhopal :Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has felicitated Keralite Dr Jayakumar R Menon under whose guidance a ‘Voice Lab’ has been installed at a private hospital in Madhya Pradesh.
Chouhan who also suffers from ‘voice disorder’ said that country’s senior most exclusive Laryngologist and eminent surgeon Dr Jayakumar R Menon met him and discussed in detail about health issues related to the voice disorders and the use of modern equipment for treating it, sources said on Tuesday.
Under the guidance of the Keralite doctor, a ‘Voice Lab’ was installed at the Divya Advanced ENT Clinic in Bhopal in Madhya Pradesh, Chouhan said.
The new facility will make a significant contribution to public health service in Madhya Pradesh, he added.
Dr Jayakumar R Menon is the head of Laryngology department in PRS Hospital in Thiruvananthapuram.
The department has the state-of-the art diagnostic technology like Video Laryngoscopy, Stroboscopy and Narrow Band Imaging (NBI).
