New Delhi : BJP national president Jagat Prakash Nadda on Thursday expressed deep grief over the loss of lives due to a landslide in Noney district of Manipur.
“Deeply saddened to hear about the loss of lives due to the massive landslide that hit Tupul railway station in Manipur’s Noney district.My condolences to the bereaved,” Nadda wrote in a tweet.
He said the state government is doing everything possible to provide relief and alleviate the situation.
Eight persons including two Territorial Army (TA) personnel were killed, 23 rescued and around 50 people reported missing due to a massive landslide near Tupul Yard railway construction camp on Wednesday midnight in the Noney district.
