Wayanad : Congress leader and Wayanad MP Rahul Gandhi on Friday said he has no anger or hostility towards SFI kids who ransacked his office without understanding its consequences.
Talking to newspersons here, Rahul Gandhi condemned the attack on his office which represents the voice of people in Wayanad Lok Sabha constituency.
Terming the attack on his office as unfortunate, Gandhi, who visited his office along with senior Congress leaders to assess the damage, said it was like an irresponsible act done by kids. “Violence is not a solution for anything and never resolves any problem.”
He said he does not harbor any anger or hostility towards the attackers of his Wayanad office. The children did not think about the consequences of their act, he added.
Gandhi said his office is not the office of Rahul Gandhi and it is the office of the people of Wayanad. He also spent a few minutes in his office after removing the plantains and photos kept over the chair in the office.
AICC General secretary K C Venugopal, KPCC President K Sudhakaran, Opposition leader VD Satheeshan, former Chief Minister Oommen Chandy, T A Sidhik, MLA also accompanied him.
