Mumbai : Maharashtra Health Minister Rajesh Tope has said that there is no indication of a third wave of corona coming in the state.
Addressing to mediapersons at Jalna last evening, Tope said there was reports of a possibility of third wave of corona to coming in Maharashtra in September or October but as of now there is no such sign.
During the festival season in the state, there is a possibility of an increase in the number of corona patients, but with the raise in the vaccination in the state the numbers have not risen. The state has a capacity of vaccinating 15 to 20 lakhs people per day. The government has also asked the health workers to go for door-to-door vaccination.
The Health Minister was in Jalna to review the arrangement for the examination that will be held for 1200 posts of Group “A” and group ‘D” of health department workers, which is scheduled on September 25 and September 26.
