Ambedkarnagar : Samajwadi Party president Akhilesh Yadav on Sunday here claimed that defeat of BJP in the coming assembly polls in Uttar Pradesh is the only one way to bring down inflation.
“After the defeat of BJP in three states bypolls, the price of diesel and petrol has been decreased. If BJP loses in Uttar Pradesh, inflation will come down so fast that you can’t even imagine. SP had showed the way of progress by giving free laptops and Dial 100 to the state to control law and order,” he said.
Yadav, was in the stronghold of the BSP , with senior BSP leaders of the district Lalji Verma and Ram Achal Rajbhar joining the SP, and addressed a big Jansandesh maha rally at a college ground.
SP chief Akhilesh Yadav highlighted the contribution of Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar and Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia, and said the enthusiasm among the people is clearly visible with this mass gathering will write a new political history in the state .
Akhilesh Yadav welcomed Ram Achal Rajbhar and Lalji Verma in the party.
Yadav said the BJP has cheated the farmers. “The work has been done to crush the farmers. The government of three new laws have crushed the farmers”.
He said there is one government of the Centre, one government of Uttar Pradesh and one government of Lakhimpur Kheri.
” The government of Lakhimpur Kheri is running differently. With the BJP government increasing injustice, the BJP has cheated the farmers. The farmer’s paddy is not being procured. Weavers are also troubled under the BJP rule,” he alleged.
Yadav also raised the issue of demonetisation. He said when demonetisation took place , BJP had said corruption will end and black money stashed abroad will come back.
” You tell me how many years have passed. Has the corruption ended? How much black money has come back from abroad”, he questioned.
He appealed to the masses to choose a good government in 2022, so that the state gets a better Chief Minister.
” May your chief minister be someone who knows how to operate a laptop. The CM of Uttar Pradesh does not know how to operate a laptop, so he (Yogi Adityanath) did not distribute laptops. Who will believe that our Baba Chief Minister runs the laptop. Bring a laptop, don’t bring a bulldozer,” he said.
On this occasion, ex BSP leader and MLA Lalji Verma said the game of Bharatiya Janata Party is over in the districts around Ambedkar Nagar.
“BJP people are dividing us on caste and religion. Their efforts will not be successful.
He said today the society needs the ideology of Lohia-Ambedkar.
Out of the five assembly constituencies of Ambedkar Nagar, two seats are with the BJP and two seats are with the BSP. One of them is occupied by the Samajwadi Party.
