Hamirpur (HP) : After a long dry spell, various parts of Hamirpur district including Hamirpur town received light to medium showers on Tuesday morning.
The sky was clear till early morning, it started raining later at around 5:50 am. The rain has brought down the temperature and provided relief from the scorching heat.
The rain is likely to help the farmers who have already sown their Maize crops or were in the making of sowing the late sowing varieties of crops.
The Department of Meteorological has forecast scattered rainfall in all parts of the state including the plain areas of the state including Hamirpur, Una, Bilaspur, and Kangra in the coming three days.
