In the Lavalin graft case which pertains to allegations of corruption over awarding of a contract to SNC-Lavalin, a Canadian firm, the SC has deferred the hearing of CBI’s plea to April 6. The case involves an alleged loss of ₹357.50 crore to the State Exchequer. The alleged corruption took place when Pinarayi Vijayan was the Power Minister.
