Hyderabad : Former Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu on Friday said former Janata Dal (United) Chief Sharad Yadav, who passed away at a private hospital in Gurugram on Thursday night, was a devoted socialist and always championed the cause of social justice and fought for an egalitarian society.
In a tweet, Naidu said ‘Grieved to learn of the sad demise of veteran Parliamentarian and former Union Minister Shri Sharad Yadav.’
