Thane :Thane district recorded 136 new Covid cases and one death in the last 24 hours, the local authorities informed on Friday.
With the new addition, the district’s COVID tally spiked to 5,66,454 while fatalities rose to 11536.
The mortality rate was 2.03 per cent.
In neighbouring Palghar district, the COVID-19 case count has gone up to 1,38,107 while the death toll increased to 3,289, an official from Palghar said.
