Panaji : In order to woo the voters ahead of the assembly elections, the Trinamool Congress (TMC) on Sunday launched ‘Yuva Shakti Card’ in Goa.
The card will provide loans upto Rs 20 lakh to the Goan youth at an interest of 4 per cent.
Youth between 18 and 45 years would be eligible for the scheme, the party said.
This is the second major announcement in the poll-bound state by the TMC.
Earlier, the party had announced ‘Griha Laxmi scheme’ to woo the voters.
Under the scheme, Rs 5000 would be transferred into account of woman of every household in the state.
The party has launched a card which has universal account number which would be operational once TMC comes to power post assembly elections.
