Hyderabad : Escalating the attack on the Union Government over the failed promises to Telangana, Ruling Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) MLC K Kavitha on Saturday posed a series of questions to Union Home Minister Amit Shah who is arriving here this afternoon. Shah will address a public meeting at Tukkuguda on outskirts of the city to mark the culmination of the second phase of party Telangana unit president Bandi Sanjay Kumar’s ‘padayatra’ ( Praja Sangram Yatra). In a series of tweets, Welcoming Mr Shah to Telangana , Kavitha, daughter of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao said, Mr Amit Shah Ji, Please tell the people of Telangana when will the Central government clear Rs 3000 crore of dues of Finance Commission grant, Rs 1350 crore of Backward Region grant and the pending GST Compensation of Rs 2247 crore to Telangana. She also demanded the Centre to answer for the Skyrocketing inflation, Record Breaking Unemployment in the country, Maximum Communal riots under BJP and why India Today , One of the leading nations in selling the most expensive fuel and LPG . The TRS MLC also reminded Sha to tell the people of Telangana on why the Union Government failed to give Telangana a single IIT , IIM , IISER , IIIT , NID , Medical College or Navodaya Schools in the past 8 years ? Kavitha also questioned the Union Government’s ignorance to the NITI Aayog’s recommendation of ₹ 24,000 Cr funds to Mission Kakatiya & Mission Bhagiratha – that inspired the prestigious Central Government Scheme of Har Ghar Jal. She called out the hypocrisy of the Central Government to accord the National project status to Upper Bhadra irrigation project in Karnataka, Ken Betwa river linking project and denying the same for Palamuru-Rangareddy Lift Irrigation Scheme and Kaleshwaram Project of Telangana.
