Tirumala :Union Home Minister Amit Shah, who is on a three-day visit to the temple town of Tirupati to Chair South Zonal Meet, offered prayers in the Tirumala temple here on Saturday night.
He was accompanied by Andhra Pradesh Chief minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy for Darshan.
Earlier on his arrival at Mahadwaram,the main entrance of the temple, he was given a warm reception by Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) Chairman YV Subba Reddy and Executive Officer Dr KS Jawahar Reddy.
After offering prayers to Sri Venkateswara Swamy, he was rendered ‘Vedaseervachanam’ by Vedic Pundits at Ranganayakula Mandapam, inside the temple complex.
Later, he was presented with ‘Theertha Prasadams’, portrait of Srivaru, Calendars and Diaries, Coffee Table Book.
MPs Dr Gurumurty, Ramesh, Deputy Chief Minister Narayana Swamy, AP Endowments Minister V Srinivasa Rao, Chief Secretary Sameer Sharma, DGP Goutam Sawang, District Collector Harinarayana, Tirupati Urban SP Venkatappala Naidu, JEO Veerabrahmam, TTD CVSO Gopinath Jatti were also present.
